Our April program, Collector Begonias: Species, Structure & Hidden Diversity, explores the extraordinary diversity within the genus through a curated visual presentation.
We will begin with a short film supported by the American Begonia Society, followed by a guided slideshow featuring a selection of collector species from around the world.
This program focuses on form, structure, and habitat-driven variation—highlighting the remarkable ways begonias have adapted across environments and why they continue to captivate collectors.
Whether you are new to begonias or have been growing for years, this presentation offers an opportunity to step back and appreciate the broader landscape of the genus.
Virtual participation will also be available for members only via Google Meet. Meeting details will be shared with members ahead of the event. (Visit our Join page to become a member!)
Bring a species (optional)
Members are welcome to bring a species begonia for display, with optional brief show-and-tell at the end of the program, time permitting.
